I have taken prenatal yoga classes and am currently taking post natal classes from here. It is a great experience Prenatal: With prenatal yoga, the intensity of the practices and poses were modified weekly as appropriate for the trimester. I was taught specific asanas for back aches and leg cramp etc which were very helpful and I was able to manage them without any medication. I also felt more energetic on days I practiced yoga. Postnatal: Currently I'm taking postnatal yoga classes. - Though I was on rest immediately after delivery, I felt that I was able to get back on feet and do my every day routine easily because of the prenatal yoga workouts. - The intensity of postnatal yoga has has been increasing slowly so that I can build back strength. It is not all about 'weight loss' at the cost of causing harm to the body. - 3 months after childbirth, the classes include more aerobic work and strength training especially for core muscles. - I find the practice to be more holistic where the instructor teaches about pranayama, meditation, mindfulness, managing emotions, yoga nidra etc.

I am 57 . There is no awareness about yoga for so many years
